The chief guest for the inaugural function was the Medical Director
of PSG Hospitals Dr. Vimal Kumar Govindan. He declared the sports meet
open. On the opening ceremony we had a march past in which all the athletes
from various colleges participated and honored the chief guest. The
function was presided over by Dr. V. Ramamoorthy, Director And Principal,
PSG College of Physiotherapy.
We decided to conduct the following matches: Volley ball, Foot ball,
Basket Ball, Shuttle badminton, Table tennis for men and Throw Ball,
Tennikoit, Table Tennis, Chess for women. On the first day the round
robin matches for all the games started. On the last day of the tournament
we conducted athletic events for both men and women. We finalized to
give an overall championship winners trophy and a runner up award. Individual
championship for both men and women athletes was planned to be distributed.
